Working with Your Designer

If an architect or designer has drawn the extension, we work from their drawings and keep the structure out of the way of their design. If you don't have one yet, we can still advise on the structure early.

Common Questions

Do I need a soil investigation?

Not always. For most extensions we design the foundations using reasonable assumptions about the ground conditions in your area. Where there are clay soils or trees nearby, soil tests will usually be needed, and we'll let you know what's required.

Can you work with my architect?

Yes. Most of our extension work comes with an architect's or designer's drawings, and we design the structure to suit them.
